Who I Am:

I’m someone who has been part of this community for a long time and has seen it change over the years. I know the neighbourhoods, the people, and the day-to-day challenges residents are dealing with because I experience them too.​​ My background includes hands-on work in the community, whether through volunteering, helping organize local initiatives, or being involved in efforts that support residents directly. Those experiences have shown me how much difference it makes when people show up and stay engaged.​ This is not just about ideas for me. It is about what I have seen, what I have heard from people, and what I want to help improve in a real way.

Why I’m Running:

I’m running because I see the pressure people are under every day and I believe we can do better.3​

​

(1) The cost of living keeps rising and too many individuals and families are being forced to make hard choices between rent, groceries, transportation, and other basic needs. People are working harder but still finding it difficult to get ahead, and that is not sustainable for any community.​

(2) Public safety is also a growing concern. People deserve to feel safe in their homes, on their streets, and in their neighbourhoods. Safety is not only about policing. It also comes down to prevention, support services, and making sure people do not fall through the cracks.

(3) Young people are not getting the support they need. Whether it is access to after-school programs, mental health care, or safe places to spend their time, too many youth are left without the support systems that help them succeed.​

(4) Our transit and public services are also not keeping up. Long waits, overcrowding, and unreliable service make everyday life harder and limit opportunity. We need systems that actually match the needs of a growing community.​

 

These issues are connected, and they all point to the same thing. We need leadership that listens, responds, and puts people first.

Our youth deserve opportunities to succeed, and our seniors deserve communities where they can thrive. I'll support initiatives that strengthen community programs, improve public spaces, and help build a better future for the next generation.
